The War of Words
There are only two kinds of war
those of words, ones of actions
As lives are taken, words are lost
is the lesser of the two factions
Talk not to mean much of anything
when not backed by a true strength
Acts of war reflect truest intentions
exposing them in their total length
There are just never any clear winners
of all wars, these to be such a tragedy
Always are those to suffer a greater loss
despite all of the presented amnesty
One thing never seeming to matter at all
as the selfishness, of being served first
Ruthlessness of these few, of their desires
always spurs more, to bring on the worst
Wordiness signifies a real cowardliness
Some would rather threaten than to act
A characterizing of their own poor ability
Nothing but a blustering as to be exact
Every bold word they say, its confidence
Only backed by a greater figure's stance
The fear in standing alone much too great
A shame to rely upon these, a world's fate
