God was made love,
He loved Himself first,
Designed all He wanted,
In the universe,
He wants us like Him,
As we praise His Holy Name,
To love ourselves first,
Then treat others the same,
Love is His greatest emotion
For relating to us on earth,
To love is more than a notion
Meant from our birth
If we lead, do it by example,
Practice what you preach
Your love is ample,
To use while you teach,
Knowing how to love,
Is in you to give,
Bestowed from above,
To share your heart to live,
An exuberant feeling,
Rooted spiritually,
It is not make-belief
But exists truthfully,
Give and receive,
Live with all joy,
And you shall perceive,
Love ahoy!
To love is a duty,
With wide openness,
Of a sentimental heart,
Never token-less,
How, is to let it,
Do what it does best,
Be gentle and kind,
It shall pass the test,
Each fruit of the spirit,
Is a loving ingredient,
Of quality attributes,
To making life convenient,
Do not use love,
In the wrong way,
It will oppose the purpose,
And fall fast away,
Allow the spirit to guide,
And the heart to follow,
For love cannot hide
From a heart of love made hollow,
To love should be naturally
And not by any force,
Crafted artistically,
Along our daily course,
Anyone Can Find It
The pathway to love
Is easy to find
It is the only one
Of a kind,
You may be reluctant
To try this path
But it will free you
from life of wrath.
