A free verse Sonnet

I need Love, you need Love,

Stephen Jones needed Love.

Disturbed and awoken from the foyer

In Manchester Arena, where he slept,

He instinctively took the path of sacrifice.

No thought of gain; no fear of loss,

Jones acted out of human decency,

And did his bit for Love.

We are much stronger than we know;

Man’s darkness, often brings forth a greater Light.

From deep within a soulful and selfless place,

This homeless man tuned in to a higher energy,

And quintessentially answered the call.

O Lantern, will you show up?

A beautiful tribute and another unfortunate tragedy that should never have happened. My prayers go up for all involved.

      Yes, Tamara,

It seems to me that your bird of Light wants to fly. That's why you appreciate beauty. Listen to the inner voice. Keep up the practice as usual. Much Love.

      Harish,

Amen! Our Lord wishes our happiness; our joys ... not to be taken in such ways. Still, hope springs eternally; spouts like a fountain of rain on a parched day. God bless your noble Heart.

What a contrast my friend manatita ! Here we hear of a guy who killed innocent guys including small kids for no fault of theirs on his account , and at the same time we witness a homeless guy acting like an angel !

Even beasts are not given to kiling animals without any reason, but how humans go to that extent and after induldging in such an ghastly act, expect noble place in heaven !

My friend, you have paid a great tribute not only to Stephen Jones but also to those departed souls who have fallen victims to this senseless phenomenon of degrading human mind.

I pray for the dear departed souls, may God rest them in all peace !

      Great tribute.

      It's time for the homely,

      To think for the lonely.

It's time for the well fed,

      To feed the needed.

Brother...you have such a way of finding the best in every situation, even ones as horrible as this. Don't forget Chris Parker in your prayers as well - he was knocked down by the blast but jumped right up to help

Very nice tribute to a gentle person that helped the injured children during that deadliest attack that took place in the midnight at Manchester Arena.

A shabby homeless man whom no one would give a second glance reveals that true beauty is what lies within ones heart.

A wonderful tribute to a hero in time of true need, Stephen Jones. Another horrid event among many occurring in our world, Manatita.
