The Youth Of Today

Updated on July 28, 2014

Have We All Gone Insane ?

Follow me as I take a trip down memory lane

Life moves so fast

Hyper speed is too slow

Look around

Nobody can keep up

There is no thinking of the past

What we once had is long gone

Even today is outdated tomorrow

Those people who look back at another time

Become washed up and obsolete

Like a new shirt

Not ripped or torn

Barely worn

Faded by the speed of time

Gypsy Rose Lee Don't ever change. Showing enthusiasm and excitement in everything you see, hear and do. I try to squeeze the life out of every day and enjoy what is left over for tomorrow and the next day and the day after that. Real living is experiencing and trying to turn into fun all our ups, downs and somewhere in between. Thank you for reading and sharing your special thoughts.

Jodah All the kids today seem to be quite happy on their cell phones that catch the news and everything they are interested in. As I pick the daily paper and thumb through one page than another. Admiring the funny pages and laughing out loud. I haven't learned to adjust and move on without caring or understanding what happens today is not just fiction. It is real life and affects people everywhere. They kids I see aren't interested in world problems because it doesn't affect them directly. Someone else's problem not theirs. Thank you for reading and commenting.

Short and to the point Dream On. A great way to emphasise the subject of life moving too fast.
