Many take lift with an extreme Caution

Some objects

Just seem infinitesimally smaller

in comparison to others

far down there at a distant glance

hovering

gaining so much ground coverage

awaiting a chance

to let down the landing gear

Inspiration comes from many places, this one was mine as a Child, I'm 37 years old today and I still wanna be like Mike

Yay! Raciniwa made it to my Michael Jordan poem, thanks for the nice message, I definitely miss them days too, and even tried to be like him in college playing B-ball.

Beautiful. You really captured the essence of taking flight, even momentary "lift offs" of athletes!

Hi ChristyWrites, yup I love the whole flight concept, its my first poem about it, and I figured why not give Michael Jordan some credit while doing it.

Hello @Faith Reaper, yes a bird would be cool If I were one, but for now I'll stiff to trying to learn how to dunk a basketball again, lol.

Thanks for reading and for sharing with me today. Fair winds & following seas, your new Air budd CloudExplorer.

@rahul0324, We fly together high above these clouds here bro, it feels so comforting to know that other writers besides myself, can share in our achievements with one another.

Thanks man for your creativity as a fellow poet, and awesome hubber, I definitely appreciate your level of paying it forward for myself and others.

Thanks Billybuc, taking flight is something I learned to do myself, thanks to Michael Jordan motivating me years back, I use to dunk as well, but I'm only 5'11''. Its all good though I felt the love of basketball transcend from him to me way back then, and there's still a bit of the magic left.

As for life is concerned yes indeed its an inspiration to pull from such themes, I'm just trying to learn how to steer my words into the right directions today, hoping that others might somehow enjoy it a bit.

Thanks for the comforting review, and for the awesome insightful message you left me here, your one of the best at leaving them for folks for sure.

So very lovley is this piece! Your view from up in the clouds is superior, so as to produce such writing. How great would it be to be a bird for just at least an hour or so and taking flight, soaring through the air and diving back down to Earth ---so free. Voted up, awesome and beautiful. In His Love, Faith Reaper

To take flight, no matter our status life, no matter the obstacles, always trying to spread our wings and fly above the mundane of life...a beautiful poem not only about MJ but about the human spirit as well. Great job my friend!

Gypsy Rose Lee, you know I love inspirational writing, and I just had to pay Sir Airness a tribute, and help uplift the spirits of others.

Michael Jordan taught us all a great lesson in life, and that is to never quit dreaming, and never quick working hard to make it work itself out.

This is my duty and what I owe to humanity as a writer, poet, and web master, and I will never give up. I will remain focused, and write like I've never written before, here up high in these digital airwaves on Hubpages.

Thanks for paying my hub here a visit, for voting and for sharing with me like always, love your budd CloudExplorer.

A fitting poem for your HP name, it floats, it flies. The one and only Michael Jordan, this captures his flights well. Up!
