The best of Silent Magenta
Have you even been so disgusted with yourself that you avoid speaking your name?
A disgust that even water and scented soaps couldn't attack with a battle face.
That feeling that even the most pristine church walls would become painted with black coal from your very touch.
Lathered with sin
And slapped with judgemental faces.
Have you ever seen disgust?
America the beautiful
What could be so prideful that it would not apologize for the attempted extinction of every miniority in its being?
Who could be so greedy that they would rather ask the poverty striven to give their last dime before contributing themselves?
Where could be so sinful that its desired by other countries even though its own people are dying everyday?
How could we allow millions of dollars to slip through our hands into the pockets of those that are so wealthy that they can afford homes built of the finest stones?
When will you stand up and speak? Without to much force because freedom of speech is just something wrote on a cloth long time ago.
Oh' America the beautiful
I am going to combine some uneven lines
one after another
I am going to rhyme every now and then
and you will call it poetry
I'll add -ation
to improve my creations
and you applaud mediocrity
your eyes will dance from word to word
all because you think its poetry
adding nouns and adjective and verbs
all in cute little stubby lines
just so you can comprehend
what I truly mean
or is the only pursuit to enjoy and read?
In my closet
I have some skeletons in my closet
nobody can see them but me
nobody hears what I hear
they jump around whispering to each other
telling the tells of my life
but no one elses knows
