Men and passion

Updated on January 17, 2015

To lose faith in love is one thing but to give up faith
in life quite another
the heart after all can still heal
but of love why bother

Did you really love the color of red
or the crimson in her hair
now I just pass by women with red highlights
love just isn't fair

I watch the sky as the crimson seeks it's glory
along the ridges of trees
And remember of things that I once loved
that brought me to my knees

Maybe it was simply the passion
that elusive
habit of the young
I no longer even know anger
the sharpness of the tounge

If I had one wish then would it be to
simply feel once more
the passion once felt by a man
passion to the core

Count me in on the lucky part. The only luck I have ever had was good luck -- knock on wood LOL

Oh how I sometimes miss that younger man's passion. Not always but sometimes.
