The essence of motherhood what does it mean

Updated on August 27, 2011

The essence of motherhood
what does it mean
feeding them timely
and keeping them clean?

Of course that’s important
underestimate not
but what really matters
most people forgot

Love and understanding
and of course respect
essential ingredients
with a stunning effect

On the development of
a child that grows up
so it will love
and hate it will not

Do not forget
that the child of today
is tomorrow’s leader
and will have its say

In tomorrows world
our future
so very important
that they are nurtured

With love and understanding
and of course respect
essential ingredients
with a stunning effect

Beautiful poem LadyFae. The essence of motherhood is indeed ensuring that we have bright future, not only by playing a key role of bringing in the next generation, but also by bringing them up or raising them properly.

Dear Moiragallaga and Dallaswriter. Thank you both for your comments.

I apologize for the very late response but my internet has left me and am awaiting for the cable man to fix the cable.

      Love and hugs
