The Hidden Facts Behind Fiction
Fantasy or Fiction, What is more Real?
Could a Novel be Written as pure Fiction that Hides Facts?
Under the genre of visionary fiction, many authors have created plot-driven stories that clearly reflect our reality today and what has been disclosed so far. So yes it might be written as fiction, but in that way, authors can contemplate and almost make predictions about the human society on Planet Earth.
As a blog writer or author, I realized that the visions and the voice from long ago have never contradicted my own research.
I became an author by following my passion
The Matrix movies and many other examples support the idea that fiction can indeed hide a lot of facts!
Today especially through Social media where people have started groups in different categories, members can share what is the latest trend or news or discoveries on all kind of topics.
Due to the appearances of Fake news on the internet, it's getting more and more difficult to differentiate between facts and fiction.
Are you a Writer or an Author?
The internet has given many people the opportunity to write. Writers can be people who manage a blog, a website or write articles for websites like Hubpages or who manage social media groups. Authors are writers who have published their work ( fiction or non-fiction) for the commercial market. This can be in the form of books or ebooks, even if the book or ebook is offered for free.
Today there are many more authors due to the ebook explosion, but are there more readers?
It's my experience that there are fewer book readers today due to all the competing content, including TV, YouTube and other visual entertainments. That is also the reason why today it's a lot harder for any author to get exposure to the readers of their genre or subject.
I have a passion to uplift and inspire my readers through writing visionary fiction. my slogan is What we can imagine we can make real.

The Hidden Facts Behind Fiction
What fascinates me the most is human consciousness and how we all perceive our reality differently. Human evolution topics are what drives me to write Visionary fiction. My intention is to awaken, heal, uplift, inspire, guide & empower others through storytelling
The Da Vinci Code is a novel by Dan Brown refers to cryptic messages supposedly incorporated by Leonardo Da Vinci into his artwork. This novel has held one of the top two or three places on best-seller lists several years ago and they made it into a movie.
David Glynn's The Amazing Facts Behind the Fiction explores the lives of 30 authors, each of whom has sold at least 50 million copies of their books, including JK Rowling, Agatha Christie, JRR Tolkien, Wilbur Smith, Danielle Steel, John Grisham and Colleen McCullough among others.
Speaking for myself, I have plundered facts that are happening today and shaped them into the arc of my novels.
The drawing workbook on the Language of Light is another example.
How to Create Real Fiction Characters
Characters in a novel have to feel real. How they look, what age and background, and most important, what shaped their personalities?
Beliefs modify the way we think and how we act and feel. Our thoughts, beliefs and emotions shape our world. A story writer must have a good inside on how people see their world.
In my article: How our beliefs create our human reality I explore how our beliefs were established in childhood. Even our body image, whether negative or positive, is shaped by a variety of factors and others come from our perceptions.
Through my studies of the nine types of the Enneagram, I started to learn about myself and from what perspective I view the world around me.
Have you ever read about the nine personality types on the Enneagram?
Novels are often Shaped by Life Changing Experiences
Ingrid is a personality type 5 on the Enneagram. Her telepathic abilities are awakened while attending a decoding of your blueprints workshop in Apeldoorn - Holland. She is a very private person but has a life-changing experience.
Ingrid is asked by Annelies to write how her reality changes when she learns how the human mind influences the biological codes that create physical reality. For Ingrid exposing her unusual experiences through writing a journal was difficult.
Through Ingrid, I shared my own life-changing experiences.
Annelies is a personality type 8 on the Enneagram. She is the center character around the genetic decoding workshops on the 5 stages of awakening in my novels. Her powerful persona holds a strong vibration necessary to lead the others on their awakening journey. Annelies represents any person that is seriously drawn to become fully awakened and wishing to fully participate and become Reality Shifters
In my article: What is a Group Soul? I have shared how I established my cast of characters for all my novels.
Science fiction - Fantasy fiction or Visionary fiction
Can works of fiction hint at the truth of our true being?
One of the science fiction writers that have inspired me the most Julian May, the author of ‘The Sage of the Exiles’. It’s the story of a world where the mind has become a weapon; and of two brothers, each possessed of astonishing powers – one a peace-bringer, the other an advocate of evil.
The fantasy fiction writer Robin Hobb is one of the best, at least in my experience. People are inclined to write off fantasy as escapism, but for me, Love, ancient tribal legends, secrets, time travel and magical powers in a compelling fantasy plot is for me a roundabout way of engaging with genuine problems we deal with today.
What is real and what is just in our imagination?
Scientist all now agree that our biological brain cannot experience the world beyond our senses, but it can register any data that is transmitted to and from our sensory organs.
What was also shown to me in a vision like projection, or more like a hallucination during the seventies, was what looked like a star map at the time ( which I used in my novels and workbook on the Language of Light.) The symbols contradicted their words. I'm sure that was the reason why I'm still today as dyslexic as they come. I think in pictures, not in words.
Today my field of interest, actually it's more like a passion, is on the awakening to our ascension. Meaning: to escape from what appears to be real.
Updating Older Novels
Most of the spiritual, esoteric concepts I've written about on Hubpages and in my novels came alive through my characters, but times are changing and so is the reality of my characters.
Years have gone by and my perceptions of our world have matured, so I have felt the need to update my original story now for the third time.
The age of computers had not yet arrived. The Internet was an unknown concept and my own knowledge was very minimal on the topics about which I now write.
I was more of an artist during the years that followed, but I knew that my paintings had to be produced in a story format, which was a great challenge, being dyslexic. The idea of exploring the awesome concept of our spiritual awakening, shown just that one time, resulted in the creation of a human plot.
When I entered the first chapter of my novel into the writers club of South Africa competition in 1999 under the name of Nadine May, I was placed first in the Michael Brunner trophy section. My elation at winning this trophy in the category: ‘the first chapter of a novel’ gave me the encouragement to share the visions - shown to me during the seventies.
My first novel was published under the title: My Love We Are Going Home in 2001 by Kima Global Publishers.
In 2007 this novel was updated and republished under the title: The Awakening Clan. I needed to update the visions I was shown.

Our world is in even more chaos, and now I've come full circle. Today is the birth of the Reality Shifters. The same human plot is updated but all the intrigue and fantastic technology that has been hidden from us for so long must be addressed.
Being a partner in our publishing company, publishing an updating version of my first novel has been easy, and today with all the opportunities the internet offers the opportunities are endless.
Thanks for reading my article
- Is writing a novel a learned skill?
Everybody can learn a skill if the interest to do so is there. How good a person is at their skill is an altogether different matter. A writer of any topic MUST have a passion for writing to succeed.
