The knife/apoem

Updated on May 18, 2012

The Knife

  • Alone in the darkness the knife caresses my skin, blood rushes out, calm rushes in.

  • It is a secret that I cannot share, the truth is to horrible for their weak minds to bear.

  • Aflowing red river that brings peace and hope, would uset their sunlit world, they could never cope.

  • One moment of violence that takes me far away, must never be witnessed by the light of day.

  • The pain brings me comfort like nothing else ever can, the cutting and scratching done by my very own hand.

  • Their is no punishment greater than my own, beneath the pale moonlight the sting of the knife is known.

Vicseral, powerful and disturbing yet beautiful in it's telling. The emotion "The Knife" evokes is palpable. Voting up and sharing.
