Love Sounds of the Night

Updated on March 13, 2012

Mother nature in her splendor

send us a sound, of what she

wanted us to remember....

It was her sound of a natural love

softer than the beating wings of a dove...

so quiet... it sounded like a whisper

only the autumn air... was any crisper.

Mother nature said have no fright

these are my love sounds of the night.

The mighty river flowed through the land

as together we walked hand in hand

the sound it thundered in our ears

but the only sound that we could hear

was our love.... it roared a mighty sound

as we became one, forever bound

Together warm and tight...

you holding me with all your might.

Mother nature..heard the sound of me

making love to you so very tenderly.

Those sweet cheeks, I love to touch

that's not the only reason I

love you so much.

Your long stocking legs

wrapped around my waist

nothing finer was the taste

of our love, it thundered loud

like a dark foreboding cloud.

As darkness fell all around

then the moon heard our sound

searching up and looking down

our soft love... was what she found.

@ ahorseback, thanks for your comments. you have a knack of writing about nature yourself it's just that your love is for the natural beauty of Mother nature. where I use nature as a backround for romance.

I believe you have quite a good collection of love poems and should start a book on these. This poem does bring out the passion of love that is described through the sounds of the night.

This is very poetic Michael, so beautiful, so tender. Your poem reflects the most basic principles of our Nature, Love being the greatest gift of all.
