The voices heard by the poet

Updated on February 13, 2015

They are everywhere at times speaking
one over the other
in the glitter of sun
on the water or
the purple of snow
covered hillside

I hear them
and I hear you

My Labrador looks at me
stoic posed
so regal and proud
not one word spoken and yet
I hear him
he says with his
big brown eyes
"please take me for a walk "

Poet's indeed hear voices they are voices of their muses. As for you Labrador I can honestly believe you heard him because I know I can tell what my Sid is saying just by his expressions.
