The Ocean Calls

Source
Source

languidly she stretch

Indomitable power

Treacherous beauty

Bathing in sunlight

Reflecting mirror above

Lazy ocean rest

So sweet the embrace

Her mighty roar turns to sigh

Tender the caress

Floating relaxing

In the bosom of nature

The warm womb enfolds

She Shimmers like Diamonds

xstatic, very nice to see you, you're very fortunate to live close enough to hear the call, it's almost a primeval response isn't it? back to the source.

Thank you so much for the visit and comment.

Beautiful poetry and photos too! I only live sixty miles from the ocean, yet it too long between visits for me now. The sight and smell and motion are all renewing, relaxing.

You have made me want to head West to the Pacific now.

Beautiful pictures and imagery! Your words create very nice moods...thanks!

Reminds me of a craving I once had to see the ocean again (my childhood memories of a beach), it happened when I was looking at some truly breath-taking pictures of oceans in a magazine and I just wanted to dive into the pages! Like I was thirsty or something to swim in the waters! And to be, as you say..."At one with nature".

Max, Fennelseed, I'm very glad you enjoyed this.

Having lived on a small island when I was very young, I can still remember how at a certain time of the year, the sea would be so inviting it was impossible to resist the call. Thank you both for the kind comments.

no, no, no, what looks like something isn't always what you think it is. Fantasy is for everyone, Michael likes to spread fantasy around, to be able to make the mind explore it's own thoughts of what could have been are such fun. at least your heart isn't broken by this. the perception of making love to the mind without a physical relationship is the ultimate in pleasure. It is so soft and tender that anyone can feel it although they are only words.in your mind you are not old!!!!

Cleaner3, the line for Michael's favours are far two long for this old bird, A girl could die waiting, too much competition.

be careful my sweet, you might become one of Michael's lovelys. don't look into his eyes, or fall for his words of poetry,or you will fall under his spell. you have received fair warning.!!!! LOL

don't encourage me for you will surely like it.

I will take you for a ride

      on the sea

      enjoying mother nature

      you and me

      sitting side by side

      so happy we can be

      till we are alone

      then you will see

i will take you in my arms

      hold you tight

      kiss your sweet lips

      all through the night

      when the morning sun

      finds us there

      we will be floating

      on ocean's love there.

your words flow like waves of the ocean, lapping at the shore so softly. "engulfing my body" ,Yes.... I can get into that . so romantic with just a touch of eroticism. (very nice again).
