The Gleeful Sounds Of Wee (limerick)

Updated on February 7, 2016

While bouncing my son on my knee

I gave out a wild shout of wee

I gave wife a call

And began to ball

For wee was now all over me

Ha Ha ! No greater joy than hearing a child yell "wee!" No better time for a change when they conclude it with one as well!

Ha - reminds me of the time I was playing with my daughter when she was a baby and she spit up right in my mouth. Ugh. Funny now.

When I was young, I worked in a grocery store after school. My history teacher and family came in one day, did their shopping and was at the register when they noticed a missing child. I ran to find him and located him by dairy goods. I gave him a piggy back ride to the front, only to find my shirt soaking upon arrival. First and only time golden rain touched me. Great job!

Awww, so sweet! My very first grandson is due next Wednesday, and I so look forward to his arrival, even with all the wee. I have two granddaughters already, but he will be my first grandson. I remember those days when my son was a baby. LOL In His Love, Faith Reaper
