The Kind Critic (limerick)

Updated on December 2, 2012

I showed off my voice to a friend

My song made sweet teardrops descend

When asked of my art

Had most touched his heart

His favorite part was the end

That could be bad or good, or both for that matter! I just love your limericks. They make you think and laugh at the same time. Laughter is a blessing of the soul!

Ha, I think that is what everyone around me in church must be thinking once the song is over, as I just sing to praise the Lord and do not care about what others' think of my off-key singing. I do try to not sit behind anyone or on the end or front.

Critics are always plentiful, yet those who are criticized, feel that we are chosen by the few. Most critics could stand a long and hard look into their own abilities and the possible lacking there of, and not in others. Thanks for sharing in your wit, Mhatter. whonu
