The Kiss Of Tears (poem)
The tears now running down her face
Do very little to replace
Another time some other space
Instead a tear a kiss would grace
-
Why did he go she’ll never know
She only knows she’ll miss him so
And where her tears now gently flow
His kisses warmed not long ago
-
Now rivers running down her face
The cries of why she’ll miss him so
Is there some hope to end this flow
A kiss a memory might grace
-
Why did he go no need to know
What time has lost she can replace
Some other love may fill this space
Another kiss made long ago
-
Instead of tears a kiss of grace
Some other time another space
Her Joy and confidence replace
The kiss of tears once on her face
