The Ocean (poem)

Updated on May 27, 2012

When sparkling moonlight mingles mid your hair

When stars reflect the magic from your eyes

When passion seems to rule the calmer skies

Then I know the oceans lingering there

The tides of feelings senses on the rise

The sands of time that passes without care

The music flowing sighs that thrill the air

Then lovers kiss to whisper their goodbyes

Goodbye to all the things they said were true

The things of others dreams and others love

Goodbye to all the things I thought I knew

The things if other stream now flow above

I drift upon a sea of loving you

And tomorrows are the ocean we dream of

I peeked in here as your title beckoned me to come in. Love the ocean and it does create a great setting for love. Very lovely verses and photo.
