The Satin Sea (poem)

Updated on August 31, 2014

He heard a calling from the satin sea

Past time and space desires exist no more

There endless possibilities do soar

He heard a gentle voice say follow me

Leave all you knew upon the sandy shore

Come feel the tides that set a spirit free

Beyond the need of drifting memory

Leave all said voice his heart could not ignore

The stars were very beautiful that night

Just close your eyes and listen to the moon

Said voice of dream to whom he now was tied

Then morning came and ushered in the light

The world awoke to sing familiar tune

But in the satin sea where someone died
