The Secret Of A Good Deal (limerick)

Updated on June 27, 2013

I got my car at a used lot

From salesman whose deals were red hot

In all of his flurries

One secret he buries

Another man’s worries I bought

Used car salesmen have a knack for that.

I think we have all been there. There is a great deal of truth in this.

Yep, that's the downside of buying a used car. People don't usually trade in their vehicles because they want a different color. They trade them in for one that works.

How true! How true! Many years ago I bought a used car and it broke down half a mile from the car lot. I was fuming. I called the salesman to come a get this lemon and demanded my money back.

Sometimes there are reasons why the used car was sold to the dealer in the first place. I would hate to be the one buying someone else's worries! But then again, one man's trash is another one's treasure!

Haha! There's a joke about a guy around here that his cars are guaranteed to make it back to town!

Makes me think about Harry Wormwood from the movie "Matilda." This was great! Voted it up!

Ha! I love this one! The words all just kind of rolled off my tongue and how funny besides! Well, not so funny for the sourpuss with the lemon! :D

So true . . . sad too, but you nailed it with your words and that shady character looking image there. LOL

Ain't they the very definition of the word ' shady '? I guess those shades are the modern day equivalent of a highwayman's mask.
