The Singing Cricket (limerick)

Updated on August 30, 2014

In her hand a cricket did spring

A cricket that really could sing

Now let’s not pretend

For you know fate’s trend

Her clap put an end to the thing

Gotta be careful about what you have in your hand before you clap.

Nicely done! Though I think the cricket would probably get away. They're quick!

      Morning Martin.

Should have learned to sing to him/her self, then no one would have applaud. Life can be very dangerous sometimes.

Nice reading your Limericks again. The web is a big place and it takes time to get around.
