There I belong – the poem

Updated on May 31, 2013

Drifting apart from ashore

Nothingness is creeping in…..

Wind in face to take away

Fears to a faraway mood….

Tresses playing to be rude

Tear jerking apathy crude…..

A story without meaning

Yet the emptiness flings in…..

Every minute a dive in soul

No where a reason so foul….

Kissing the reminisce glances

Cut a bit of emotion trances….

Tolerance cries out of limit

Death of mind frozen hermit…..

Time is weaving a tale lofty

Promises never the less crafty…

Walking in the hourglass edge

Mourning a daybreak fresh….

Questions are weary lot of razor

Answers play some quick tremor….

Feelings never lie

How much do try….

Cannot reach somewhere..

Cannot leave anywhere…

Where I belong…

A bubble of believe

Rubble of pain…

Cuddle of faith..

Cradle of love….

There I belong…

May be no land and nowhere

But I do belong somewhere

The uncanny wave of passion

Soaring flow of reason

And yet I belong within the soul

Of infinite ..a reason so intense…

Words unsaid…

Feelings unfelt…

Stories untold…

A fuchsia dream unravel ….

Yet another cocooned marvel…

Thus I wait in an entrapped waiting room!

That is part of the beauty of all literature. You discover that your longings are universal longings, that you re not lonely and isolated from anyone. You belong.

      Have a nice weekend!

I was born at the wrong time, so I understand the waiting game. I am so grateful that I have the lake and my birds for a respite.
