There Is No Greater Thought

In our lifetime we will travel millions of miles

We will meet people from all over the world

Eachof us attempting to make our life special

Leaving our own imprint for everyone to see

Why can't we start each day with one prevalent thought

One so strong and so kind

That knocks all the mean people on their behind

Not just for an instant but for eternity

Is it that hard to help another person

Why do we make so many rules ?

Instead of letting our heart guide us in the right direction

Thinking back when I was small

I couldn't wait to grow up and fill my daddy's shoes

Now i have long since become a man

All i ask is how can I help ?

I am here to listen and I have two shoulders to cry on

I will be honest from the start

i don't have the answer your looking for

But I do know this

If we talk and work together we will be far better off

Small steps that make a difference

So tiny some say they could be invisible

All I do know without a shadow of doubt

We are all in this world for a reason

If we put our thinking caps on

I am sure we can find out

There are a few things I have learned in my life

Drugs our everywhere

People use them for all the right and wrong reasons

Instead of worrying what to do or not do

Lets make one more miracle happen

We can't replace any drug

What we can do is pull the rug from under your feet

So you won't know what hit you

Before it's too late

Then you'll find it so hard to change your mind

Because in the middle of all of us

Is one marvelous thing

It is in every bone in our body and then runs through our blood

A feeling I can't see

So you just have to trust me

We all care about something

Now if we break it down even further

People give us a reason to live or die

That's why

It is essencial that we go over this point many times

Closing your eyes and feeling this same thought

I have experienced all my life

To care for every living thing and do what we can

To save a life

Now you might think I over stepped my boundaries

Then you might also say who do I think I am to say such a profound statement

With no proof no evidence of any kind

Wishful thinking maybe

Maybe just maybe I know something you don't

If I am wrong I will be the first to appologize and admit my mistake

But if I am right we can all live a life

Better than anyone we have ever known

So it is up to you to take me up on my challenge

Look and find what we are all made of

When you discover a kindness that is so unique

Every time you find it it changes you a little more

Until you experience a vibe that shocks you from head to toe

But don't worry it does absolutely no harm and only good

Think of it as we all have a rebuilt engine that purrs like a kitten

A little touch up here and a tweek there

We are better than good

We are all sparkley clean under our hoods
