There Was A Love (poem)

Updated on April 27, 2015

There was a love

Written in the hearts and stars

Of every soulful page

Dancing in the summer’s sky

Beyond a never end

Gently drifting by

There was a love

There was a love

As a couple holding hands

Laying always at their feet

Promising happiness in darkness

Roses capturing tears

Blossoming rainbows

Softly slipping by

There was a love

And dreams behold

The rulers of paradise found

Marveling in every step

Every movement a breath

Mornings of you

Rivers of you

Warmly sweeping by

There was a love

But here and now

We stand on the edge of an unknown

Watching as comets pass

Lighting the nights of lovers

Facing the skies up ahead

Living our bliss

For others to sigh

There was a love

A very nice poem for love. Somehow true love seems to always endure.
