They Twist and They Turn

Updated on November 14, 2012

They twist and they turn

Go over and under

Don't know what they mean

While they pull us asunder

Visible but unseen

The tendrils keep spreading

Oblivious to the environment

They're joining and rending

One simple fact

Consuming and purging

Everything is a mess

The waste keeps on building

How can something so strong

As strong as a stone

Be broken and damaged

Until all is said and done.

I love the rhythm of your poem. I love the hub, period. Great job!
