Things to have - a poem

Updated on February 7, 2010

Things to have - a poem

Headspace in triplicate

The inner grace of blamelessness

Weird spider web homes

Misspelled intelligible words

A truncheon from the constable

The maids inner spreading

Lapland elk famer boots

All portable heavens in miniature forms

War zone discharge papers

Warm croissants and coffee in Parisian cafes

Hot sand underfoot on Brazilian beaches

Sabre teeth tigers on a leash

Farflung ticket destinations

Unblemished apples and consciousness

Torrents of electrical appliances and party pieces

Cornucopias of vineyard produce

Whistled tunes of happiness

Hymns of holy praise to the One

Untrapped running feet in comfortable shoes

Nimble nuggets of good ideas

Martian contacts in outer space with flying saucers

Dishevelled party frocks

Muddied boots from dawn dew

Junkets and gravy trained quangoes

Snow days and log fire thawing

Inexplicable occurrences of serendipity

Distinguished acquaintances connected to those in the know

Polysyllabic utterances of magical incantations

Mythical powers of transubstantiation

All the right lottery numbers

A chocolate fountain

Five pound found on floor

And a sonic screwdriver for all occasions

Hey Sherbet, glad you enjoyed this word workout. Think streaming your consciousness once in a while is a healthy things to do.

Micky Dee: Yep wish all the boys and girls 'out there' had them. Stay safe! Peddle by as often as you wish always happy to see your yellow jersey riding in.
