Think On This
Ever wonder why most people believe in God
But only few attend church services?
Ever wonder why the Bible has survived
Centuries of bannings and burnings?
Ever wonder how men living lifetimes apart
Could write the Bible, all with one heart?
Ever wonder why the ocean or sea
Does not beyond invisible border flee?
Ever wonder why the snake crawls on the ground
Per Genesis 1, yet many doubt how the world began?
Ever wonder how the ant knows winter’s ahead
And stores enough so it can rest its head?
Ever wonder how Earth circles the sun,
And never a cycle has been broken?
Ever wonder how 6.5 billion
Almost have different faces - 1 in a million?
Ever wonder how laughter is good
And anger not better,
But most of us choose the latter?
Ever wonder how man can create
Airplanes to stay airborne and ships to stay afloat
Yet pebbles have no such luck?
Ever wonder why some friends are here to stay,
While others briefly pass our way?
Ever wonder why many long for friends
But never seek to be-friend?
Ever wonder how we’d be guilty of a sin
But quickly turn 10 fingers pointing at him?
Ever wonder why after pain is great gain,
But still we prefer plain terrain ever?
Ever wonder why, except for color and features
Blacks are like whites,
Yet some refuse to share a light?
Ever wonder how Dems and ’cans
Both love our country
Yet, criticize and disunite
And fail to do their duty?
Ever wonder how the Earth, so small
Alone with life, in a universe so vast
Strategically placed for sun and air,
And never loses its place?
