Third Letter Nonsense

Updated on September 27, 2010

Give it a Whirl Yourself - Go up the Alphabet

I was taking a Creative Writing class in College and in the poetry section of it, I found myself endlessly spinning rhyme after rhyme, words were crowding into my brain. I couldn't shut them out. Somehow I got hooked on the following combinations of letters. The first letter, "D" and the second letter "E". then I mentally started to go down the alphabet and didn't get too far on memory alone, so I started to write them down. I haven't tried any other combinations, but perhaps you can add to this effort...I tried to make a story out of the words to give it some continuity, even though it was nonsense and not proper English by any means It's a brain teaser, at least for me and I hope you enjoy it......Eddie.

This is really cool and you did a great job. I don't think I could do as well. However, since I'm in the mood to challenge myself I'll give it a whirl. I hope I can find words that make sense and flow the way yours did. Do you have any other writing excercises to share with us from your writing classes? It would be fun to try some more. Thank you.
