Will I Ever Write Another Hub?

Updated on September 3, 2012

Well, let's see now. How long has it been since I wrote a hub? I just checked my stats, The last hub I published was February 19, 2012. And here we are now, on Labor Day 2012.

Anyway, so I get a few minutes here and there, lately anyway, to sit here and just read a hub or two and see what all you good people are up to. I even manage to comment and vote. I use the new Hub Hopper, which I hate by the way. But am I able to actually sit here long enough to really get down to brass tacks and put up some useful information for the general public? Noooo. Of course not. I'm too busy answering emails, paying bills, chasing dogs, reading books, cleaning this huge monstrosity of a house, washing clothes dozens of times a week, writing articles for content sites, cooking (not as often as I should) and rescuing baby bunnies from our big dog. Blah blah blah.

By the way, does anyone know why mama bunny would build her nest or bunny hole in our yard when she knows full well that one really big black dog lives here? Go figure.

Anyway, I can hear you all now. Finished? Do you feel better now? You're awful whiny today, laidbacklady! Well, yes, no, and yes I am.

The problem lately is, there is so much going on in my daily life that there just seems to be no time to really put together an informative and helpful hub. I am taking my Adderall as I should be, but that does not impact how many hours I have in my day and how much I am able to cram into those hours. I know, complaining doesn't accomplish anything, but it's how I feel. Of course, being the jackass that I can be sometimes, I have had days where I was doing basically nothing and I could have composed something...anything that would offer value to the travelers of these HubPages. But did I avail myself to those opportunities? Nooooo! Of course not. Why? Because I always get into doing something else. It does not matter what it is. Just other things that eventually use up all that time I could have used here.

Thanks to the hub that hecate-horus republished the other day, What Do I Write About Now? (or something close to that) (see the link below) I have some fresh ideas for coming up with hub topics.

Well thanks to all you good people for letting me get this off my chest. I can almost hear all the tiny violins playing "My Heart Bleeds For You!" But I feel better now, at least. Here's to getting back on track--the sooner the better! Enjoy the rest of this long Labor Day weekend! Thanks again for listening!

Lovely! That was a great piece. Mama Bunny must be one of those foolish bunnies. I enjoyed your writing and please don't call yourself a jackass. Sometimes we are too hard on ourselves. You're a human, stuff happens. You seem to have your plate full yet you manage and that's commendable.
