This Flop Was Accepted In Yale (limerick)

Updated on October 3, 2013

Though each class in high school I’d fail

I still was accepted to Yale

This one thought a flop

Proved nothing could stop

A janitor’s mop and a pail

      Love it!!

I have a friend whose son chose not to pursue higher education.

She tells people that her son works in the surgical unit at a rather large hospital in Denver.

She leaves out his job descriptions which is janitorial.

He loves his job and is happy. That is what matters most.

      Super limerick!

      DJ.

Well you made me smile and I was feeling blue,

On days like this that's hard to do,

So I salute you and thank you for this little cheer,

Now go celebrate your poetic prowess with a cold beer!
