This Ring Thing Is A Limerick – Right (limerick)

Updated on December 18, 2012

When I gave my wife wedding ring

The whole city could hear her sing

And firemen came

Wild woman to tame

When drain would lay claim to the thing

Delighted the firemen saved your wife's ring,

The drain is no place to store your bling.

My mother used to do the same thing all the time. Luckily, my father had a trap in the drain pipe for just such occurrences. Great job!
