Unscheduled stops.



They found them
open and unclicked,
under the car that
rolled sixteen times,
Plus five teens flung
like bloody confetti
out the windows in its path,
Too many belts of booze,
when their seats rejected them,
simply because gravity works.

Domestic Disturbance...3:00 A.M.

Once upon a time

I was happy,

until he left me with you!

If you don't go to sleep,

RIGHT NOW!!

I'm going to burn you

with this cigarette,

after I let you live,

slap happily ever after.

Leftovers at 7:00 p.m.



It sat partially eaten,
on the kitchen table
as they loaded her corpse
into the waiting ambulance
and away............

Already suffocated
by loneliness,
she choked on a Swanson
microwave dinner for one,
which became her Swan son-g.
