Three years in HubPages: Gracias de hecho
On completion of three great years .....
Three years of writing here in HubPages and it’s been a great time. However, I could not write on many topics as much as I really wished for many obvious reasons. And the number of hubs also I could not achieved the target as I aimed for. But I have decided to go easy on me. I don’t believe that writing actually can be done in a much improved manner if I try to impose on myself. A free flow of expression is what I aspire for and thus it is okay to go slow sometimes. This is a latest realization and I am much calmer than earlier. Earlier I used to feel bit of irritation within, if I could not write for couple of days together and that tended to result in disappointments in my mind and became obvious from my behaviour. So to be easy and peaceful within, its an intention to go slow with differently themed writings this year.
Three years and I have made many great friends here in HubPages. I have read many hubs that are too great in quality and the ideas. But I would love to mention some very dearest hubber friends who are always worth following and reading ahead. They all write on various styles and covers myriads of topics. All of the hubbers many times write stories, poems, DIY hubs, cooking hubs, travel hubs and many other forms to cover their interests to a wide variety.
An endeavor to thank my friends....
I am trying to present a very concise intro about some of my hubber friends with few of their interesting hubs which I enjoyed reading. It is just to make it easier for readers who may be new in HubPages. It’s all a very novice attempt from my personal point of view and whatsoever $6 is accessible about the individual hubbers from their profile here. I very sincerely apologize and declare that there is no intention to judge anybody by their professional caliber and holistic approach on their individualistic take on life and writings, rather it’s an endeavor to proffer a tribute for their never ending support and encouragement for me here in HubPages for last three years.
Aka Patricia Scott – a very strong lady of substance who writes from heart. From her writings its always evident that miracles are always everywhere but it depends on the seeker to find one. And the way she sums up a comment always.... it’s awesome...in her words, words and words “ Angels on your way this morning...” and it does Patricia that your angels do light up many hearts all the way. All time personal favourite hubs from Patricia which you can go any time to read are listed. Al though all the hubs are very precious these are what shows her strength as a person to express what is very motivating and positive beyond imagination.

Number 3 and its religious significance
The number 3 is a very numinous and religious number featured in many ancient tales (three wishes, three guesses, three little pigs, three bears, three billy goats gruff). In ancient Babylon the three primary gods were Anu, Bel (Baal), and Ea, representing Heaven, Earth, and the Abyss. Likewise, there were three aspects to the Egyptian sun god: Khepri (rising), Re (midday), and Atum (setting). In Christianity there is the Trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Plato saw 3 as being symbolic of the triangle, the simplest spatial shape, and considered the world to have been built from triangles. In German folklore a paper triangle with a cross in each corner and a prayer in the middle was thought to act as protection against gout, as well as protecting a cradle from witches. Three black animals were often sacrificed when attempting to conjure up demons. On the other hand, a three-coloured cat was a protective spirit. In William Shakespeare’s Macbeth (1606–07) there are three witches, and their spell begins, “Thrice the brindled cat hath mewed,” reflecting such superstitions.
3 in Hinduism
In Hinduism, number three has a significant role. Tritiya or triah, is a symbolic representation of Trinity. Trinity has one aspect of Purusha ( Male ), number one and then Shakti ( Power )number two and third is the combination of both. Three is a symbol, of Hindu God Shiva. Because he has a three pronged Trishul ( Trident) as his weapon, he has three eyes ( Trinetra), he has three braids of hair and he removes sins from three births. He is known as Triloka also.
The number three represents many other aspects of creation as follows:
- Three time division – past, present and future.
- Three states of being – immanent, transcendent and absolute.
- Three periods of the day – morning, noon and night.
- Three worlds of heaven, earth and hell.
- Three phases of life – young age, middle age and old age.
- Triple control of thought, word and deed.
Three /3 in different language :
- In English ( as we all know ) – 3, in words – three.
- In Hindi – tin
- In German – Drei
- In French – Trois
- In Latin – III
- In Spanish – Tres
- In Japanese – San, Mittsu
- In Chinese – San
- In Korean – Set
- In Vietnamese – Ba
- In Malay - Tiga
- In Portuguese – Tres
- In Arabic – Ein
- In Russian – Tree
- In Turkish – uc
- In Italian – Tre
- In Polish – Trzy
