Through The Clouds We See The American Dream

Updated on September 26, 2012

Through the clouds we will see you through

with no doubt will write AKA Lord about you

What we see from up above is honest to God truth

Through the clouds we will come around... for you

The American Dream

What is happening to us in America? Why are we portraying scenes from an apocalyptic chapter of the Bible? Can we get out of these sinful life we are facing ourselves, and living it day by day?

We will see through events that we all might know about, but flagrantly look the other way, just to "avoid" more problems. "You mean trying to do the 'quick fix' in an ethereal quicksand?" Just remember, we are one Nation under God. From Paul Revere until way before Watergate, this United States was blessed as "United," and not divided.

Technology, sinfully, has separated everybody to their own egocentric needs. We hate to help others and curiously, there has been a connection between modernity, obesity and selfishness. How can we revert the trend? It would actually take a miracle, because as we said before, the genes from that gone hard working America has been dying from generation to generation.

In the early 30's, it was hard to earn a single dollar. You would have to wake up before dawn and do the land or walk some miles to school. Radio was a luxury and forget about all the gadgetry we take for granted today.

How is the Very World Around us Doing?

The patient called Motherland, the one our founding fathers knew and cherished, is really sick. Is just a miracle that we still live on solid ground. Sadly, we have witnessed immorality and corruption left and right. Here are just some random examples and you might've heard about them more than once. Or maybe you will find out with us:

The Car Dealership

Here is Senior Financial advisor "Tom Double D" giving "new hires" the insights of legal scamming. Well, is not only in America for sure.

"If possible, offer that extended warranty or push for that extended service contract. Just remember guys, your sale commission gets better if you follow my advice. I cannot stop reminding you this sacred rule: confiscate graciously their social number to get their credit report, this way we can be able to bump the interest rate by two points, if they do not qualify! You are here to sell and not to look at these beautiful balloons!! Did any of you get the doughnuts and coffee ready?"

Wonderful Lawyers

Peter K. wanted to hire a lawyer to fight against excessive child support increases from his ex. Travis D. an ex attorney for the city, offered his services for $250. Why so cheap? The damn Lawyer had three hearings at the same time, and of course he didn't mind adding Peter to his "important corporate list." In the end nothing was done and the lawyer came late for Peter K's family court hearing. Case closed! "This will pay for my mistress vacation and my daughter's tuition. Tired of hearing of my ex!"

Your Green Waste

We love that green waste collector who is becoming more of a household name. We go to Walmart and we see them in the back of their huge parking lot. We go to the dentist and... if we look behind the parking space in a corner, we see a neatly fenced dumpster. Are we used to the green container?

So many families depend on their jobs, so why interrupt their business? All is fine and generating revenue, and the green house effect is reduced for the benefit of us all. But, as you see America has been dangerously "recycled" by these financial giants. Taking over of small companies has been the norm. "You don't like it? Join us or else."

Lobbyists were born in order to keep interests and investments safe. After all, Uncle Sam depends on corporate "managements" that keep the system going. Can you imagine a department of recycling and Energy? Washington would become a big dumpster in a minute.

"Well, offer them green cash and tell them that we will take care of them. Just remind them that their diesel-fueled trucks are already in violation of OSHA and EPA codes. Yeah! Our landfills are doing much better.. For God's sake, they better accept our proposal or they will be isolated by our lawyers and legal procedures. They have no choice."

Breaking Ourselves Into a Paper Waste Recycling facility

The Pharmaceutical Giants

If you go to visit your elder relative in a nursing home, you most likely will see them all drugged out, "just to keep them calm and rested." If we check deeper, we will see drugs from corporate giants that made kickbacks to doctors, "just to help your place and your pocket." Ever wonder why you get free samples from your family physician?

The Pharmaceutical schemers along with the so called by us, "terrorist hospitals," have been killing half of our country. 911 is just a small cry of 2,754 lives against 200,000 deaths a year. Is funny to see and witness just a corporate fine and a slap on the wrist from Uncle Sam to these assassins. Just a little bad media here and there and ciao!

Drug companies get away with their crimes and face no real consequences for bribery, corruption, marketing fraud, scientific fraud, intimidation of really caring scientists or elaborate financial kickback schemes. Gone are the old days when grandma had the answer to every pain and illness for us. Actually they were taken away by your physician and the health-care (hell of a care) system.

From a Pfizer Corporate manager in Groton CT: "No! we've reached our carrying capacity! We cannot advertise like that anymore. Just a few years ago, we were hit with a record $1 billion settlement with the Justice Department for engaging in fraudulent drug advertising... so let Johnson & Johnson, and Merck Sharpe and Dohme make the mistake. We've learned the hard way pal."

The Dream that Has Become a Nightmare

If you read Billybuc's hubs and Cloud Explorer's plea, you will agree that America is ready for a shake down. Are we ready to become part of history? Do we want the best for our new generations? Can we start sharing our wealth with the needy? After all, there is someone looking through the clouds. Above all, we all will not be able to take a single penny to the skies...

The first picture above is not fake and the rays cut through the clouds right on time. Was that a powerful sign? Did we write this hub alone? Was this just a sudden inspiration. We leave you with a video of ours. It would be so wonderful to drive through our country and "read" the minds of these drivers next to us. Where are they heading? Is tomorrow really promised?

Love me do...!

Hi KJ, You always straight forward! Political or not, we need to make decisions on our own. A nation in despair need some fundamental changes, and you said it so right! Goodnight my friend!

Lord De Cross..Congratulations on a very well researched and written article...What you write of is so true and we have no one to blame but ourselves..We were a trusting society and allowed to many others to make decisions for us ! Shame on us, now we are paying the piper..Hopefully,people will come to realize that we must take responsibility and change what doesn't work..four years have taken a toll on this country..We are the only ones that can change it...think B4 you vote...thanks and good night my friend..

Hi there Bobbi, thanks for stopping by. We remember those political Purvis hubs that you wrote from your heart. Like Tammy said, apathy and no care attitude have already caused moral harm to all of us. We know we are closing a "cycle" in history and cannot stop immorality and corruption. Your examples are so right! Spitzers and Mc Greeves didn't care about their families and wives. Mr. Clinton said things he didn't do, but still got away with murder plus a "cigar." I stop here because I'm not trying to incite people and... I don't want to "read those lips." Thanks for your thought-provoking opinion. Good night!

    Hi Lord,

What would our forefathers say today if they could return to see how the judiciaries have become horseshoes from bending over backwards to protect and accommodate the non-Americans; whose religious worship comes first.

And seeing a government of low morals, as each wife has to stand by her cheating low life of a husband and support him and yes he will stay in his same position---and not be fired.

What would they think after listening to an injudicious government, and being made aware of how our government officials are probably meeting in secret to support the One World Government?

We still have the Blue Tenplars and yes they are real

Hi Tammy, you said it better, we are living times of changes and we should look into the past and see where we are heading as a nation. Thanks for your sensitive words!

These facts are sad but true. It is amazing how the US parallels the downfall of the Roman Empire. Every things under the apathy of its people. Very deep and insightful!

Michelle Liew, Rubi, Maria Couchara and Gypsy Rose Lee Rasma. The best thing we can do is get together and take personal actions and move other minds. This Country deserves better and we have hope in our citizens. Negative feeling won't get us anywhere. We are already divided by parties and personal interests. I don't want to relate to that Roman Empire, because this is a country of the people and for the people. So help us God.

Voted up and interesting. You know I think if my parents had arrived in the America of today instead of in 1951 they would have taken one look and stepped back on the ship and said next port any port but one in America. Sad but true. She ain't what she used to be and yet it's my homeland and I want to make my way back. We all got to band together and make things better. Passing this on.

Great hub Joseph. When we the people begin to teach our children that all people are due respect. This includes their beliefs, their religions, their skin color and a hard day's work is good for the soul. America is so divided. When did we forget that America was a place where everyone was welcome?

Life everywhere is ready for a change, and we've to take the modern technology we have less for granted. Kids especially need to understand that not everything was at a touch of a button as it is now. They need to feel the lack before they can fully understand it! Complacency's like that...there need's to be a bit of a shake before people will move. Thought provoking, that's why I've said a lot! Sharing, Joseph.

Thanks Mary and Sgbrown, two mothers with powerful opinions. Your concept of morality goes above any personal interest. Young generations will need to go back to the designing board adding classes of patriotism and respect. How can we do it? By putting politics aside. Most of us want the best for our families, but we flagrantry leave our fellow man out the door. Our empathy has ran out, and we could care less for the world's problems, unless it touches home.

I believe our only hope is our children! We must teach our children respect and humility. The children of the world need to know what hard work is. They need to learn to respect other people as well as other religions. Our children need to learn compassion and empathy. They need to be raised with better ideas of morality and self repect. What you have written is all so true! But I believe it is too late for the generations that are already adults. We need to instill better morals in our children. Our children are our future!

I agree with Billy's back to basics philosophy but as you have pointed out there is so much more to fear. Drugs to the elderly occur not only in nursing homes. Visit a senior citizen (say late 70s or 80s) and you will find a line up of medication taken every day!

Money is the root of all of our evils, everything else falls nicely into place in this crumbling society. We need to return to God and bring Him back to this country while we still can, stop worrying about being a millionaire (not us, politicians) and get back to worrying about the people in this country!

Voted up, useful, awesome, and interesting.

Thank you Jackie Lynnley for those words. Your spiritual side is warmly welcome. We do believe in that creator, the one that keep this earth from falling into eternal damnation. The sun is there for us every single day. With science or not, we know God is out there and in our unique and particular thinking.

darknezz111, hi Daniel from Boise. Nice to see you with us. We blame science for killing people while driving, you know, texting while on the road. We blame science because is man made. Like Rousseau said, "advancement doesn't mean improvement from the inside out." There is nothing wrong with the Apollo program, or the Space Shuttle, but using technology to kill people just to keep Illuminati and their new order in place? In the next days, a colleague hubber will make a revelation to all of us. And curiosly involves NASA and that International Space station. I hope you finish your Journalism career and join us. Shaking your young hands that are the hope of the future. Peace my friend! Nice blog you have. Your ideas are superb; I've been to Argentina a couple of times, as I can read in one of your hubs. Hasta la vista che!

I don't know what we may have to face or go through but I do know God will not bring His wrath against His own. He never has and He never will. Let's just pray we are called out first, before satan has his day which I expect soon.

This country is in so much trouble and solutions seem almost non-existent. Your hub spelled out many of the problems, but I think the problems certainly stretch into a government that is giving us more rules to follow each day and yet not doing a thing to get people back to work and reduce the deficit. We are falling far behind other countries in many respects and that is not the fault of big business. I do agree with much of your hub. It is well written as usual. However, I think we are being pushed into becoming a socialist nation where we are losing our freedoms.

  • darknezz111 profile image

Daniel Durand 5 years ago from Southern Idaho

So correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like in this Hub you've blamed all of the world's problems on technology and science, and then linked that to a disbelief in God. You said:

"Technology, sinfully, has separated everybody to their own egocentric needs."

Obviously there are problems in the world, but why blame technology for them? And why does technology have to oppose God? Were the Apollo missions sinful in your mind, when mankind could first reach out into the cradle of the cosmos and see the view from the vantage-point of his maker? Is it wrong to want to understand?

Technology isn't the problem. People are the problem. And the 1930's were no Golden Age; it was harder to make a dollar because of the Depression, not because of some idyllic moral society structure. Don't forget that the "Greatest Generation" fought two world wars- people died and crimes were committed then, just like now.

What's your enemy here? More importantly, what's your solution? It's good to have faith in God, but when do you stop crying woe for the sins of the world and actually roll up your sleeves and build something worth living for?

You wonder what human race we are in. Well said brother, we really need a turn around. Voted up and useful.

Interesting, relevant and so pathetic. This great land of ours, which was founded on the basis of being allowed to worship publicly and freely; now closes main streets in NYC every week, to allow the Muslims to pray in the streets.

Last year, many Christian groups were refused when they asked to put their Nativity scenes up in the park or on public lands. They were told that they were offending people. The main religion of this country has been shoved into the back room steadily over the years until they are no longer getting their freedom of religion. We just keep letting them do it and soon, if we are not Muslim, we will be killed. But polls conducted just a few years back, still have 88% of this country claiming to be Christians.

Great insights.... Can I "hire" that attorney? (joking)

Yes, America is sick, but it's by design. The Corporate Party is attempting to dismantle America for something better -- the New World Order. And part of that "better" package is the murder of 6 billion of us, because they don't need so many people to do their slavery. It looks like the 4 horsemen are just around the corner.

We've already had the great star named "Chernobyl" ("wormwood" in Ukrainian). And the Rockefellers are planning the mark of the beast for us all.

May God protect us all and guide us to salvation through Christ.
