Through The Fire

Updated on February 27, 2017

Through The Fire

Through The Fire

We came this far not to turn back now

There is no use looking back at the plough

Shadows beckon the call

A beacon of light to a hurting world in need

One can derive logic as being fear

For I shed a single tear to numb the pain

Not having you in my arms is driving me insane

A challenge to be free is a question of time

For love has gained it also has lost

Humanities heaviest of cost

Some search for truth out of a garbage can

Through the fire of your pleasure and desire

Love is the truest essence of our existence

Merciful one come take this chip of my shoulder

Stop the senseless fighting as are nation grows colder

Let's look above to the heavenly love

There's a call in are streets claiming love yet they hate

Viscious long hanging fangs that fright

Evil minds that plug destruction

One soul soar's while the other will soon burn

Through the fire we could unite those hearts that are dead inside

The fire of adversity

Each of us must face a specific fire in are lives

Some equate logic for fear

Others ponder divorce as an excuse

Yet we are given this one life in which to chose

We must search the inner core of are being to find the answer
