Through The Screen -- Closing in Toward Quantum Teleportation

Updated on March 22, 2014

Suddenly You Are Heading Throught the Unknown

Mind Over Matter

If you see your own fingers, hands and arms, they are made of zillion of particles and molecules that are held together with a mind and soul of your own. So, you are sitting down in front of the screen and retrieving instructions from your brain to proceed and type an answer, get yourself a cup of coffee or be ready to take care of the daily shores.

What you see through the screen is just a response to predetermined dynamic html and hardware needed to make up for the inquisitive world behind the screen.

Through the screen

Science and technology have been taking slowly over our minds by storm. It was until 2008 when we fantasized of being with a loved one on the other side of the screen (web-cam). The most you could've done was kissing the screen and begging for a miracle out of a science fiction movie, being able to trascend to the other side of the screen

That dream have change to a tridimensional stage. Gone are the dreams of just getting somewhere else through a screen. Remember the scene from A-Ha's Video clip, "Take on me." That was a perfect image of surreality painted with canvas.. that was close to what we expected to happen one day. But that is a dream of the past. Now we are closing in on virtual teleporting. Just imagine your loved one in front of you but on a tridimensional well shaped up image.

How far will we go, or what will be the limit? One thing is for sure, the human mind is always pushing for the next big change. From radio to TV and Cable. From silent movies to surround sound HOME theater. From Edison's phonographs to Blu-ray Discs. You see? The next kid on the block of invention will come up with the latest piece of gadgetry and that is a normal expectancy. We were kids once, and now as adults we look for the best iPhone , if we can afford it. What will be the ultimate boundary? I guess a united universe, where mind and matter will finally joint our Creator. We finally will understand Captain Kirk's, "The final frontier where no man has gone before."

Through the screen...

Seems funny but is almost a reality

seeing you across this screen called

Imagination touching our senses

coming close to feel your sweet advances

With no pretenses

Through this screen I have come to know you

emotionally disturbed while trying to kiss you

Hold it there, not close enough to a real encounter

Is this the beginning of an unleashed monster?

That was back in the 80's 90's and 2000's

Now we are trying to catch up with holographics and beyond. Take a quick look and you will understand how things will become second nature in a few months

Form iPad Into a Hologram -- Almost there Dorothy!

Spock: "beam me up Scotty"
Spock: "beam me up Scotty" | Source

Through the Screen- Updated version

Through the Hologram

Just imagine being next to you

seeing those eyes seeing me through

tridimensional love that will be with me

Hand in hand, mind over matter, cheek to cheek

We are the real deal in front of the world

away from worries, finally you chose my love

Sensuality that went beyond pure reality

kisses that trespassed the realm of our own humanity

Thinking and Still Rethinking...

Is the creator of the Teleportation machine already born? Are we on time to see this changes? Amazing how man can create... or destroy. Is the next space commander of the mission to Mars already in grammar school? Who knows, maybe is one of our kids.

You are right pegCole17; The science behind it will be a militar secret until is becomes safe. Nixon did use Cellular technology in 1969 and it was not available until 1972. Stayed tuned then. Lol! Thanks for the visit!

It is amazing when science fiction becomes the reality. I remember the early days when Dick Tracy employed the use of a two way radio in the comics. We thought, "That will be the day!" And now it is and so much more: Cloning, stem cells, video cameras the size of a wallet. Teleportation is just a short distance away. I'm ready to beam up to the Enterprise.

    Net Traveller,

Thanks for leaving an interesting comment. Actually the technology is a reality for a few. Will be available when costs go down and all the IT companies come to an agreement. Thanks for your feedback!

The sending the man to jail before he commits the crime sounds like "Minority Report", and Tom Cruise was also using a hologram app in that movie. I actually stopped the video after the first few seconds to check for the hologram app on my Ipad, but alas... Then I watched it further. Veeery interesting!

B leekley, Just keep some secrets to yourself. Otherwise those tablets won't get sold anytime soon. We have sources that have leaked to us the holographic 3d surround system to call it so. Thanks for leaving such a futuristic comment!

Yes, we've seen wondrous inventions come in our lifetimes, so we can expect even more wondrous ones to come. My jaw drops when I read about some that are already ready to go into production, like a solar power highway, the vacuum tube train or vactrain, and, coming soon, nanotechnology devices.

5o Caliper dust, Wow! That mind of yours can really take us places. Lt. Uhura or Nichelle Nichols did history with the very first interracial kiss with Kaptain Kirk. Would love to beam up so many scumbags straight to jail. Don't get me started with those politicians. Thanks for stopping by my friend. Glad to here from you!

I certainly was entertained by the first "Star Trek" series and had my favorite characters for different reasons, had a crush on the woman that did the communications "Hailing on all frequencies" "Lt. Ahora?" or something like that, she was a good looking woman and still was the last time I saw her on the Television that I no longer use, I got it working with a few pointers from Will Starr but after a few times of watching it just seemed I'd rather get my news from off shore companies like the BBC, and other non- main stream like WND, those that covered the good things that happen but since they are counter productive to violence or promoting of a political stance Fox and MSNBC and ABC CBS and all the others that twist some peoples minds to over look the possibility, of peace in the world where there remains elbow room for helping each other. That is where the thought of your storyline lead me.

If we could locate and transport people off the streets that have and are about to cause harm to anyone, what a surprised look a man with knife in hand about to stab his wife, all of a sudden was stunned with surprise of finding him self or a jail cell all alone, I laughed out loud at the thought of having those little pendants that are used for the oldsters like me who fall down and can't get up, to summon emergency help. Used for transportation instead. I just read on my news page a 4 year old child pushed Grandmothers pendant while she was under attack by a swarm of mad bees and it most likely saved her life.

A positive human interest story to be sure. I'm babbling away here so I'll shut up with a smile,

    Peace and Blessings,

Faith! Thanks for the good wishes. I know we are here for a reason. Much appreciated!

@50 caliper, you can drop us a line any minute. Thanks! Your commets are very much appreciated!

@Rubi, we write for reality and not so evident reality. Hope one day we would be able to make this happen! Not so bad after all.

@Genna East, there is already a spoon in our hands. All we need is a good meal. Probably we will be able to cook through some kind of teleporting feasability. Even the technical language will change a bit for sure. Great to see you around!

I sometimes think we are moving too fast. I love looking ahead to what is possible; “possibilities” is my favorite word. But then I think that we have not looked enough into our past to learn what we should already know.

I loved this hub. (Spok is still a favorite of mine.)

The next step for us is, “There is no spoon.”

Aha, There are days when i want to return to the 'good ole days ' when 'Star Trek' was an unbelieveable adventure, now it's upon us. What will we see next? We're living in an exciting era, and your writing skill protrays that. Enjoyable read..Thank you..

An interesting thing you have presented, I have teleported my mind to the past and it's actually cool here even when it's hot, I figure to be transported one day soon, if possible I'll drop you a line.

    Voted up great piece,

Aw, now you have made me smile in this early morning hour. I will continue on until you are on that high mountain top. The Lord wanted me to tell you He loves you, and that He has great plans for you. God bless you. In His Love, Faith Reaper

Lol Gypsy Rose Lee! A hundred years ago, we could just stare in awe the T model from Henry Ford. Now is just history! Nothing stays quiet and rigid. Even energy moves around. One day in Riga, the next in Bensonhurst! Right! You would save so much on the plane ticket!

Voted up and awesome. Boy this set the imagination dancing. Wouldn't mind at all being able to be transported from one place to the next.

Tammy! You got me laughing and I was away from my laptop, but you did make me smile. The boundaries of imaginationa have no limit. Live long and keep prospering writing great hubs!

@Lathing to the infinity and more than the closest beyond. You are such a wonderful friend. I was laughing my ass off with your comment as well!

@Janine, even our grandparents were caught up by surprise. Skype is... or will be surpassed by virtual 3D teleport- conference. Is just around rthe corner as some already said. Thanks!

@HossierDenise Lol! Wonka or no Wonka that's the question. love your humor. Nice to meeet you!

@billy, thinking rethinking and still wondering, when we will see this advancements. Just remember this: President nixon had a conversation with the Apollo 11 crew from earth. It was 1969, but the cellphone was invented in 1973 by Motorola and investors. So what's wrong witht the picture? You are right. We will see evilness with teleportation and all.

@Curiad, you are so right! There are rumors that is already out there, but needs to be released to the normal folk when the time is right. Your philosophy is astounding !

@ Thanks Maria for the fun response and wit commenting. That 'EYE IN THE SKY' has been in our eyes for almost 30 years. Imagination and reality will fuse our own senses one day. Much appreciated for commenting! See you around! hey Mickey Sr. hi!

@Beloved MartieCoetser, you are such a charming lady... and frankly we thank you for praising our poetry. We just write from within... and the rest falls onto gear. Thanks for being so kind and understanding!

@Rcrumple, Just to set the record straight! The technology is already out there, but we don't know when it will be released full throttle. probably it will give some time to 5g, 6g Technology run out its course. Amazing how things will get our lives easier, depending on how we behave to one another. Thanks!

@Dearest Faith Lol! You did beam me up with that smile. and we came to a middle place in Christ. Thanks for helping your fellow man and glad to have you with us!

Wow, Lord, this is amazing. I always thought way back in the Star Trek days that by now we would be teleporting, but you are right, it is just around the corner. That video is amazing what they can already do - is it live or . . . ? I just hope that we do not become so advanced that we will all be living in little pods in our virtual world and never feel the real human touch again! That would be a little scary. I would love to beam you up Lord right into my living room to talk face-to-face, now that would be surreal. Ha. Great and fascinating hub. You are a true visionary. In His Love, Faith Reaper

An extremely interesting hub! Not having an I-Pad, I'm guessing that video was a fake one, but it was so well done, it makes me want to investigate to see if I am a fool or foolish for not believing. Great journey into a land that holds no boundaries!

Virtual 'reality' very successful expressed in your poems, Lord! This is quite scary, is it not? Especially "kisses that trespassed the realm of our own humanity."

    Excellent ~

"Seems funny but is almost a reality

seeing you across this screen called

In fact, it is all in the mind and what's in the mind is actually more real than reality...

Voted up, profound and prophetical :)

Wow @ video "From iPad Into a Hologram."

The distance between our current physical reality and the true reality is closing at a frantic pace. How long will it be, who knows. But it is coming and will open the eyes of humanity.

It is all fascinating and I would never say no to progress, but a part of me clings to the old days. I always fear that we are progressing too fast and that our wisdom has not gone along for the ride with our brains.

Great hub as always; much to think about there, Joseph!

When I think of teleportation I don't think of Star Trek but, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factrory. Mike Teevee is teleported to the television via Wonkavision. The catch is he is minaturized in the process, resulitng in a trip to the taffy pulling room.

I agree it is only a matter of time before this too does become a reality instead of just a dream. We already have Skype, where you can see your loved ones through a computer screen and talk to them, so teleporting probably wouldn't be far off. Have of course voted up and shared too!!

Wow, this is something to think about! I do believe we are lot closer to this whole star trek episode from becoming a reality! I had forgotten about that song by A-ha.....

Live long and prosper?? Come on, Tammy.... Say - To Infinity and Beyond!! :))

Loved it..... Voting up and awesome!
