Time To Trim Our Life

Updated on November 10, 2015

With Great Success and Happiness

We have made it

Many times were tough

Many more were unbelievable

I can not say enough about our journey

The people we have shared our life with

The endless stories that recapture all our excitement and pleasure

We learned how to survive when all things felt impossible

Turning to our inner strength to guide us through

Observing life up close right under our breath

To as far as the eyes can see

Dreaming of people and places

That only few can imagine

Turning doubt into power

Accepting change and find ways to embrace it in our life

Taking time now to refocus and plan a better way

One that highlights our greatest achievements

Remembers the sorrows

Using our past as a diving board

To bounce high

In the direction that gives us the ultimate satisfaction

Thanking everyone and everything

That has helped sculpture us into this masterpiece

We proudly display today

So wonderful that memories remain and memories also inspire and make us see that we must go on and only we can let others know what makes our lives worthwhile.

billybuc My mom has been gone three years today and I have not looked over her things that I saved. I keep meaning to and something comes up. I am trying to hold on to her memory in her possessions that she had not in her memories that she had made. I am afraid that over time my memories of her would fade. I think it is the natural order and I have to share my mothers love by doing the things that she taught me growing up. Over all be a good person and help others less fortunate. Make each day fun. Thank you for reading and sharing. I am glad you enjoyed my writing. Have a beautiful day.

It speaks to me. Our last child has gone off to college...it is time to focus on the future, to trim our lives. :) Thanks for the reflection, my friend.
