Tinkerbelle.

Updated on August 30, 2017

I enjoy photography and I love our cat so I thought it only natural to write a short poem about her. I feel I have no sense of creativity when it comes to putting pen to paper, that's why I never have!

Bold as brass, did our daughter bring.

A sweet bundle of love, a furry thing.

Dashing about all secretive she brought.

It wasn't wanted, it was given for nought.

All her heart she gave.

This sweet bundle, please save.

My poor girl begged and pleaded

For this mite a home is needed.

It was plain to see, love in her eyes

I had to agree, with her cries.

Tears she shed, daughter of mine.

It had a bed, lucky this time.

Oh! Thank you daddy!, so, so, much.

That's me all over, a big soft touch.

From us and my wife, tears of joy flow.

Puss has a new life , it hasn't to go.

A name puss needs, it must have one.

Ideas were thought, then all were gone.

Scratching our heads, we all did think.

Out popped a name, we called her 'TINK'

Our bundle of fur,our bundle of fun

Has no fear and can run.

Our bundle of love, Our bundle of joy.

Loves to play with her mouse toy.

Much wiser and a little older.

Could a cat be more bolder.

Dogs take flight in a blink.

Fearful of Queen Tink.

We love very much, our Runt of the litter

Never with her, a reason to be bitter.

Time now for this tale to end, as all is well.

Four years on and still in her spell.

This poem being only my second attempt at writing.

Is this work a worthy effort?
