Simple format for reviews - Film/DVDs

You've finished watching that great film or DVD, and it was great! You just thought to yourself who else will need to know about it?

Well, you can just write a review for this film or DVD. Apart from sharing your delight with your friends or relations about this experience. You can relieve it more by a simple review about it. This will enable you to share your interest with a wider audience and also position your self as a writer. At least a film reviewer. Imagine how this will leverage yous experience as a film goer. You don't just end up spending those hards earned cash on the film tickets and entertainment (the pop corn and the coca cola). But you end up positioning yourself as an expert. Who knows one day you might be asked to go and do your hobby for free. If you become very good in your own right as a reviewer.

This articles give you tips on what to focus on to write a good review.

Simple follow these heading in your review:

Title: What is the title of the film/dvd that you watched. You audience will need to know.

Stars: Who are the characters that appeared in the film. Just list their names.

What is the story? In a nutshell, write a compelling narrative to bring you readers to the story behind the film. Remember to write very clearly. You are the eye throughh which your audience will see the film's story. make it as vivid as possible.

What's it like? here you provide your own opinion about your thinking, feeling and possible your action towards the film in hindsight. It's an opportunity to present your evaluation of the film. This is an invitation to put on your hear on reflective thinking. If you have nothing to say you can simply use this strategy.

What was positive about the film?

What was the minus?

What was interesting about the experience?

Remember to compare this film with othrs films the same category or series. For example, you watched Spider Man2, how does it compare with Spiders Man 1? This example is just an example. I'm not trying to sell any film. I'm not sure whether there's anything as Spider man 1 or 2. I hope that you understand what I'm trying to point out.

Running Time: How long (minutes) was the film, Was it a bore to spend all those time watching it. Could it have been shorter judging the richness or not of the story line.

Verdict: How do you quantify this experiecne using adjectives. Say for example - engaging, exciting, great film/cinema experience. Well the choice is your.

Rate it: How many star? From 1 to 5. Increasing stars is a sign of higher quality.

Next time you watched a nice film share the experience with friends. If you need a place to write it follow this link:
