Poem To My Creator

The Heavens Open
The Heavens Open

 (Man – Machine – God)

Small are we, such minds of insignificance,

Grey matters not for you gave us our magnificence

We play at being you oh master of molecules

While famous logicians tinker with silicon follicles

Atheist pray against you ever existing

They cannot hear the love they are resisting

Why bother build machines of lousy comparison

When we have warm wombs seeded in unison

Oh my Father, I seek you in the heavens,

Biblical word told me to watch for your awesome sevens.

      Micky,

You are right, so right about the golden rule. The reason I make reference to Atheist in this line is they mostly do not want to subordinate their life to a being higher than themselves. That would interfere with doing what always feels good in life. But your other arguments are quite cogent and taken to heart. Thank you for posting some commandments for good measure, always appreciated in a post.

      God Bless you Micky.

Great post! Great poem. Though some atheists do not pray against God's existence and some even keep God's greatest commandment which is to "love thy neighbor as thyself", "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". It would actually be Satanists who would be more against God's existence. Some atheists are converted to atheism by actions of professed religious. Some are not opposed to God at all. But what is the most important is that we keep the law above all laws and that is the Golden Rule. It's the law. Thank you Sir!

      Hi Fred,

I am happy you made it by, you gave me something for which to laugh at myself and I greatly appreciate it. I think being called unique is one of the greatest gifts and an awesome affirmation of what God promised us, “uniqueness.” I greatly appreciate your writings, and am happy to share.

      Thank you friend.

      God keep you.

Sorry it took me so long to get to your hubpage. Your comments on my pages are uniquely insightful. This has given me a glimpse as to why. You are unique. You are probably the only one ever to have rhymed the word molecules! Up and awesome!

Thank you for a wonderful acknowledgement. We are blessed to be instruments of his making, we feel all the more special when we can use our unique qualities.

I am happy to have you as a reader.

      Hi Laurie,

Its nice to see you, the Revlady had mentioned you to me. I look forward to exploring your writings and how you are able to glorify God through transformation. He needs each of us for a different task, how great to be useful. Thank you for compliment. See you soon.

      Amen to that my friend...

Truly original and from the heart... Not just a regurgitated re-write of someone else's thoughts.

Our Lord loves everything we can do to glorify Him!

:)- in His service as always,

      Rev.Ted

50, thank you for the encouragement brother. Many blessings to you, I didn’t even pay attention to the date, which is interesting. We are God’s creation; he uses us as were needed. Thank you again.

Hi Pastor, thank you for being the first to comment. Thank you for the great compliment.

With everything I have read lately from you, Fred, James, David and several other contributors, I just boiled down multiple hubs into this for our God. I hope he likes it, I am sure he does.
