"To: My Love" by Eric Wayne Flynn

"To: My Love"

I awake

You're up before me and singing as usual

Smiling

Blessed with your presence for another day

Rolling out and into you

We embrace

Your kiss; light as the breeze

Fresh air for my lungs

I inhale you

We spin and dance

Moving together as one, we keep time

Dizzy from your touch

I fall for you again and again

Down for the count

Nestled against your skin

I would rather die frozen in your arms than a warm bed

But today we shine

Thankful for the life we share

Great poem for Valentine's Day, I hope you gave it to your love in a card.

No Valentine for me Jodah, this poem is actually a love poem to nature.

I like how it works both ways of course and it would be synonymous if I had someone to give a card to.

Ok, well nature is a worthy love Eric. I just reread it, yes could work either way.

Brilliantly written and every line was so riveting.
