To The Cherrie Girl

I'll never know if you ever see this
But I remember you girl in school
Beautiful Asian, my only friend
The one who was never too cool

The way you handled your style
You seemed to glide through the halls
Your knowledge and wisdom beguile
Teachers of age and fair idols

You certainly stated your fashion
Your laughs would echo the walls
Personality so loud, could wave all men
To cower down their pedestals

Though I never understood your name
I thought of cherries in the sweetest way
A rhyme that could never match a fact
You are but an angel who lost her wings

The one true person I never knew
Though you cared so much for a loner
I regret every day for not ever saying
You made a difference I hope all to remember

-To: The Angel without wings

(I believe your name was Cherrie. I never ordered a yearbook, nor have I seen you around, but just in case you ever see this, I wanted to thank you... for everything. I wish you the best that life has to offer. You have permanently made a difference in my life. Thanks again.)
