Today is a Sad Day

Updated on February 10, 2013

One Sweet Day

A great man passed today!

A great man passed on from Cancer. His name is David Starkey. He is from England.

He was one of the most positive people I had ever met. Whenever I was sad or depressed he would always encourage me and tell how much the Lord loves me.

This was David’s motto

This was David’s motto.. Treat everyone nice no matter what even if they are not nice..

He loved animals he was always trying to get everyone to help save the wolves, to stop any kind of abuse to God’s precious critters as he called them..

David was such a joy, and polite and wonderful to speak to.

He told me always to cherish our yesterdays, but move on to now and tomorrows.. and always have faith.

If you knew David and If you can, please post on his timeline he will be missed.. I know his family needs encouragement..

David you will be missed…

Every time I think of You

You my friend will be missed

You loved Nature

You Love our furry friends

You loved everyone

You love the Lord

You had gladness

Gentle sympathy

More magnificent

As you lie down

To meet your Lord

Stretching in pensive quietness

In His Majesty

That you longed for

You are in Meadows Green

And the golden SON

Slumber in His bosom

All the while

Dancing to His Honor

Through the lapse of ages

David You will be so missed

My friend!

I penned David's motto...for myself first, then others too. The second video was not what I expected...surprisingly, I remembered so many that are gone.

      I loved your beautiful poem!

May this loss and grief you feel now become a treasure to enjoy, after the pain is past: You will meet him again! Blessings your way now as you grieve and accept.
