Today's Almost Limerick

Updated on April 18, 2015

Taken For A Ride

The children rode in mom's cart,

pleasantly playing their part.

When asked in which aisles

she had found their bright smiles,

she said "They're for sale,"

then thought quick and pale

adding: "Not today;

they were yesterday!"

There are moments, sometimes days....

Children have their moments, parents do too.

Happy days....

      I heard a good one on NPR today: Q. Have you lived here all your life? A. Not yet.

      Thanks for commenting folks.
