Together Again And Loving It

Updated on November 5, 2013

Simply Sweet

Embracing each other in our arms

Exchanging of soft kisses

Calming down every excited moment

So it can last a little longer

Rubbing your back as you relax even further

Watching an occasional eye twitch

I can't help but think

If you were a spice what would you be

Pepper that stings my tongue

Maybe cinnamon that is so good for you

Sea salt to compliment what already tastes so good

Tuscan that packs a punch

I think you are the perfect blend

That makes me keep coming back again and again

An hour out of my day

That gives me energy to carry on to other things

Feeling loved

Being together when so many people are apart

A hug is never a hug

It's really the beginning of a terrific start

Sparklea I love cinnamon on toast in the morning. Growing up I love to eat Corn Flakes and Rice Krispies cereal I love to add just a little sugar to make it taste so good. annart To often we are too busy in life wanting and we forget to spend time enjoying what we have. Nell Rose Spices bring out the flavor and love brings out more love. Both do their job so well. I love to practice finding new combinations. Thank you all so much for reading.

Love it! what a great poem, and yes I know what you mean about spices, I used to have a boyfriend who always reminded me of cinnamon and others too, it was his personal smell, lol!

So good to appreciate what one has! I love the spice, seasoning analogy. Lovely poem, as always. Ann
