Tongue Twisted Tattlers

Updated on September 18, 2008

Going Grocery Gathering

Sometimes shopping sends souls soaring from center to center.

Sue says she saves cents shopping Sack and Save center.

But Betty boasts the Basket's Boston Butts are better buys,

while Pam praises Piggly Wiggly's price per pound pounces plenty.

Then there's Janice who jumps for joy at Jitney Jungle's juicy dressings.

Now Helen's having a heart attack hoping the Wholesale House has ham and honey for the holidays.

Then poor Tina tells that Tyke's totes tons of tender tips but

Linda loves Larson's little legs and large lettuce.

So buying groceries gathers gossip good but get gas when you're going guessing because gas gobbles greatly guessing groceries' greatest gags.

He is obviously still in your heart.

You did catch me endeavouring to read and not laugh at the same time.

Thank you for a magic hub

You are so welcome. My Dad used to love when I read him my poetry and stories I had written and this was one of his favorite "fun" writings I did. It was the first time I had ventured to something besides just poetry. He used to tell me to read it to everybody that came in lol. Sure do miss him!
