Too Many (poem)

Updated on December 1, 2012

Too many painful heartaches have we bourn

Too many sleepless nights of deep regret

The empty shouts with which we were beset

The lonely darkness sheltering our mourn

-

Too many minute passing as if years

Wondering are we ever coming home

Reflecting on what was where does it roam

We can’t believe that love could bring such tears

-

Too many dreams still waiting to come true

Too many plans were made that didn’t last

Too many angry blames were freely cast

Too many woes to stop a kiss that’s due

-

Yet through it all we found great Joy somehow

Too many things have passed to give up now

'Too Many Things Have Passed to Give Up Now'. Those are the words of hope and belief in tomorrow.

Beautiful poem, Martin and beautiful soul you have in your possession!

I am surprised and thankful for the ending to this honest and loving poem. Sometimes the trials and tribulations bring us closer together.

Beautiful Martin, I guess love is seldom smooth, but when it stands the stormy trials of life, it is meant to be. Loved this. Thank you.

Its a very nice poem with a touch of reality of life. As said in the last lines....life and love is all about the hope for the new day.

Yes, as lovedoctor stated, "true love will stand the test of time." When it is real, then hope is never lost . . . never.

I missed this one somehow, but glad I found it now. Nice image and very lovely video! Your music choices are always perfect.

God bless. In His Love, Faith Reaper

This is the second sweet poem I have read this morning. Love in all its passion will stand the test of time, like lovedoctor has said. Voted up,
