Nothing is the way it seems

Lost in a fantastic dream

That fades to

Mediocrity

Come dance with me

And you will see

Enveloped

I become you still,

Give in to me

I bend your will.

Grey's the colour

Take your pill

And dream about the dentists drill

Intensify

The feeling most,

I am the pain

You are the host.

To me

All other plans are lost

I am you now

I own you now

This is my cost.

It's ironic that what was once used in the course of medicine is illegal and abused today.

Very well done Jennifer - I ache! I am not a fan of dentists and dread that moment when the toothache strikes and you know without doubt you have been summoned! Love the ad -imagine Cocaine toothache drops - bet they worked big time.

Thank you Bill! I am extremely flattered by your kind words, this is one of those poems that usually never gets past being scribbled down in a notebook, I published last night on a whim! Thanks again!
