Two lives meant to exist in different planes

One to survive as the other heartbeat wanes

Despite everything that people will try

Why only one should live, only God knows why

One hand rests on saving the impossible

While the other holds on to thoughts that are inconsolable

To move on or to stay

To save both lives in every possible way

Decisions are designed to make us strong

To know the right things from wrong

It can make your heart break or flutter

But when it's about letting go, decisions are just clutter

Fate has reasons why these things come to pass

It may be to make each moment count and last

As the last beat dies away,

A broken but hopeful mother whispers,

"You may not be able to stay, but it was a priviledge loving you anyway"
