Trapped Within

Updated on June 12, 2014

Anan is an online blogger and private consultant since 2009 in the areas of relationships and interfaith spirituality.

On this cold and rainy night

I can't stop this ache inside.

This unnamed pain of mine,

this fire that comes from within.

Can you hear me calling?

Can you really deny me?

The fact that I need thee

like the air that I breathe.

When I think I am letting go,

when I think I am safe

here comes your dead love

here, in my heart, trapped within.

A deeply serious poem and obviously good, or they would not have bothered to copy it. I'm wondering what should be done when this happens, too.
