Turn On The Love

Updated on December 26, 2014

It's Hot In Here

I can feel my body temperature rising

My forehead is really warm

Did someone turn the heat up ?

I look at you

Like I have done a thousand times before

You are sexy

Some people need a lot of things for Christmas

I just need you

It's the truth

By my side

For the next fifty years would work out just fine

Together seeing each other grow old

Not a bad way to go

In the past we have shared our dreams, aspirations and hopes

Now going forward

Let us see if we can really go over the top

We have had our share of heartache and headaches

Lately we have been very busy

With the holidays and changes in both our jobs

We have had to squeeze in our passion

Yes I am talking about a quickie

Love on the run

To hold us over time next time

The time is now

A day off from both our jobs

Like a little mini vacation

Only one day but it can be more creative and powerful

I think you will agree

We have been running ragged

Now it the perfect time

For romance and passion

Come away with me to a far away land

Maybe in a tropical island

Your Master suite awaits

The bed looks familiar and so does the picture on the wall

I thought a King size bed was bigger

The music playing

Isn't funny the same station we listen to at home

I will pamper you with a sexy outfit

It is so warm and soft

It feels like my pajamas back home right out the dryer

Delicious rich decant chocolates scattered over the bed

They are so good

These are like the expensive ones our neighbor gave us

With a cute glass candle of aroma Marshmallow Fireside

I smell the fire but I can't see it

It is in the other room

I can hear your heart beating faster and faster

Wasn't that a new ring tone on your phone ?

The cold air whistling against the window

As you pull me close in your arms

We lose our sense of time and place

Lost in a world we make

Loving each other

I can hear the church bells sounding

Sure sounds a lot like the windcharms clanging

Don't listen to your mind

It is deceiving and blind

I prop up your head on the pillow

To kiss you one more time

Both bodies romantically intertwined

All we need is an expensive wine to make it a grand experience

Out of our budget

A wine glass filled to the top with Ocean Spray Cranberry Blueberry juice

Will do just fine

Laughing and hugging

Drives me wild every time

Every touch better than the one before

Enjoying the world of imagination

Where anything is possible

An hour and a half later

Both bodies lying still

Spooning each other

Relaxed and now sleepy

All a couple could want

So happy their needs were fulfilled

Both husband and wife are thrilled

Gypsy Rose Lee There is nothing I enjoy more than watching my love grow. Feeling happy and content all day. Add in the years and many beautiful times follow. Thank you so much for reading and sharing.

A most romantic poem with wonderful sentiments. I love that feeling when I can peacefully snuggle in my warm bed and drift off to wonderful dreams.

Jodah I like taking real life and dreams and mixing both of them together. Love is a topic that is often shoved aside or forgotten. I like to bring it back fresh and alive. To keep both our eyes wide open and filled with surprise. Thank you so much for reading and commenting. Have a beautiful night.
